Established in 1970, UCSB's Environmental Studies (ES) was one of the first environmental programs in the country. A small group of committed individuals cared enough about the environment to make a difference and to teach others about how to protect it. As our world faces more significant and challenging environmental issues, Environmental Studies has become one of the fastest-growing majors on campus and the largest and most successful undergraduate environmental programs in the world.
We need your help so we can continue to teach future generations about caring and protecting the world in which we live.
