When Dean Milem launched the Dean’s Lecture on Education, Diversity, and Democracy last fall, he captured the very heart of the Gevirtz School’s mission in three powerful words. For 50 years as a graduate degree granting institution, we have given California and the world its future educators: the teachers that help shape generations of productive, concerned citizens.
We give those teachers the informed research to do their jobs most effectively, for one and all. And we give the fields of counseling, clinical, and school psychology its leaders, who make our educational communities safer, healthier, more fulfilling.
Please give what you can, but we ask that you join our $50 for 50 campaign—a dollar for each year we’ve been a graduate school. And once you’ve given, let everyone know how important it is that they join in. We’d love for you to share your GGSE stories, too.
By donating today, you help support our students in Education, in Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology, and in the Teacher Education Program. By supporting fellowships, you allow our students to focus on developing skills and realizing dreams and not fretting about funding. Giving to the GGSE is an investment in future success.
