UCSB Sustainability
UCSB Sustainability is a collection of efforts from staff, students, administrators, and faculty across the campus. We encourage and coordinate the efforts of faculty, staff, and students who are the frontline of positive change by taking action today for a better tomorrow. By working with all sectors of the campus community, we help UC Santa Barbara maintain its leadership and attain its shared vision of a sustainable future through our Edible Campus Program, Carbon Neutrality Initiative, Sustainability Student Internship Fund, and Green Initiative Match Fund.
Guardian Scholars
The Guardian Scholars Program at UC Santa Barbara currently supports approximately 180 students. The program helps to ensure that incoming students have a smooth transition into the campus community and are provided with a network of services to enhance their educational experience.
UCSB Affiliates
UCSB Affiliates is a community-based support group for UC Santa Barbara that strengthens mutually beneficial relationships between the university and greater Santa Barbara communities. A dynamic group of community members from a multitude of professions and Gaucho alumni of all ages, one of our priorities is student scholarships.
Research Mentorship Program
The Research Mentorship Program is a competitive, six-week summer program that engages qualified, high-achieving high school students from all over the world in interdisciplinary, hands-on, university-level research. Students will be paired up with a mentor (graduate student, postdoc, or faculty) and choose a research project from a large list of disciplines offered by the program each year.
Center for Science and Engineering Partnership
CSEP, a one-stop shop for UC Santa Barbara scientists and engineers, designs and evaluates training programs for UCSB students and researchers.
Senior Class Gift
We are grateful for the traditions and legacies made possible by senior class gifts. The 24-Hour Study Room at the UCSB Library, Student Safety programs, and Alumni Scholarship funds have all been enhanced by philanthropy from previous classes, and it’s time for the Class of 2023 to leave their legacy.
